Tierra de Esperanza is a Chilean Foundation created with the Mission to defend the rights of the most vulnerable and marginalized children, regardless of ethnicity, religion or political opinion. The foundation provides children with affection and altogether with their family and community, with specialized attention and commitment to ensure the quality of life that allows them to project their future.

PEDRO CANALES CONTRERAS
Pedro Canales Contreras is the Executive Director of Fundación Tierra de Esperanza. Psychologist at the University of Chile, expert in childhood and adolescence, has been a consultant for UNICEF and the Dequení Foundation in Paraguay. He has been a lecturer on Social Policy issues at University of Chile, of Psychology of Communication, Mediation and Conflicts at Universidad Andrés Bello and Universidad del Pacífico, of Criminal Procedure and Communication Reform at Universidad de Concepción and of Family and Communication for the graduate program in Family Mediation at Universidad del Pacífico. Of the works carried out in Paraguay, it is worth mentioning the advice given to the Management in the Don Bosco Roga Foundation (evaluation and design of social intervention programs and job training with national coverage), and the organizational and communication design for the DEQUENI Foundation - Paraguay.
