    In September 2022, around 62% of voters rejected a draft of a new constitution prepared by a democratically elected convention. Almost 80% of Chileans had previously voted in favor of replacing the existing constitution from 1980 in October 2020, which many interpreted as an express mandate for a new and improved constitution notwithstanding the September 2022 result. This webinar will provide updates as to what the new constitutional process entails, what are the main questions going forward and whether this new process will satisfy the interests of diverse constituents.
