JAVIER FUENZALIDA
Javier Fuenzalida is a Professor of the Master in Public Policy & Management Program (MGPP) and the Research Director of the Center for Public Systems (CSP), both at the University of Chile's Industrial Engineering Department. Before his current appointment, he was the Deputy Director of the National Center for Public Performance at the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers University. A publisher of several papers on public management and policy, civil service, performance management and decentralization, Mr. Fuenzalida has also been a research consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and UNICEF, as well as for several Chilean public-sector agencies. He is also a Board Director of the Chilean Society for Public Policy. He earned his PhD in Public Administration & Policy from Rutgers University, a master's degree in Public Policy & Management and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Chile.
